Anthony Moccia has extensive trial experience in major commercial and civil litigation in state and federal courts, representing a broad range of clients in real estate, commercial landlord-tenant, product liability, construction and employment matters.
Representative Matters
· Successfully litigated disputes involving virtually every aspect of the commercial landlord-tenant relationship for many national and regional shopping mall developers, including class actions arising from common area charges, rent issues, tax abatements, use clauses, bankruptcy petitions, abandonments, options and indemnification disputes;
· Provides representation to a wide range of commercial property owners and managers on all aspects of the landlord-tenant relationship;
· Defense of product liability claims, serving as regional counsel for CBS Corporation, f/k/a Westinghouse Electric Corporation, counseling the company in hundreds of asbestos actions filed throughout New England and New York;
· Counsel and litigation services to the construction industry, including successful trials of contractual disputes involving delay damages, extra work, retainage and statutory liens.
