April Smith currently practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, LLC, corporate and partnership law, real estate and forestry for the Corporate Advisory Services Group. She joined Adams and Reese in 2005 in the Litigation Practice Group and continues to practice in the areas of commercial litigation, collection litigation and commercial and residential foreclosures, and splits her practice between Alabama and Florida.

Her Florida practice focuses primarily on representing creditors in judicial foreclosures, both uncontested and contested, and collection litigation. April's commercial litigation background and experience expands upon and compliments her current transactions practice.

April was selected among the Rising Stars in Alabama Super Lawyers® 2010 and 2012 in the area of real estate.

April credits her parents for her success by setting an example of continuously striving to better themselves both professionally and personally. In her spare time, she enjoys running, traveling and going to the beach.
