The Firm is a successor firm to the law firms of "Loke & Sim" (1973) and "Arthur Loke & Partners" (1981). It has an excellent reputation in corporate law, intellectual property law, real estate and construction law and is one of the most recognizable Singapore names in these areas. The Firm had also advised on major litigation and arbitration, and represented first rank regulators and corporations in the Singapore courts and elsewhere. Our Firm is noted by Legal 500 (2010 edition) for corporate law. Our Senior Partner is a well-known international lawyer.

We are a leading firm in some emerging areas of the law in Asia. We have a practice in China litigation before the Chinese courts, working with dedicated and seasoned Chinese litigators. We also advise on India investments, particularly joint ventures which have complex structural or relationship issues. We hired our first Chinese lawyer in 1993 and our first Indian lawyer in 1999, before the stunning growth in these countries. Since then, the law and business development in China and India have been part of our Firm's general body of knowledge and expertise.
