Arturo A. Armand joined Wicker Smith in 2008 and is an associate in the Miami office, handling matters in medical malpractice. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida in 2004, with honors, and continued his studies to earn a Juris Doctor in 2007.
During his studies at the University of Florida, he was active in a number of student organizations including President of the Hispanic Student Association, Student Senator, Student Body Vice President, Florida Blue Key Executive Board Member and Treasurer for the Spanish American Law Student Association. During law school, Arturo also clerked for the Administrative Judges in the Miami office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2008, Arturo is active in the Florida Bar, Cuban American Bar Association, University of Florida Law Alumni Council and the Belen Jesuit Alumni Association.
