Asima J. Ahmad is an Associate in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents management in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in a broad range of employment matters. Ms. Ahmad first joined Jackson Lewis as a Summer Associate in 2012. She continued working for Jackson Lewis as a law clerk during her final year of law school.
Ms. Ahmad earned her Juris Doctor from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, where she was a Managing Editor for the Penn State Journal of Law and International Affairs and a member of the Civil Rights Appellate Clinic. Ms. Ahmad led the clinic's efforts in researching and writing an amicus brief filed with the United States Supreme Court on behalf of twenty civil rights and advocacy groups, as well as assisted in writing a brief in an ADA case before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Ahmad received her Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College in 2008. She was a Dean's List recipient, majoring in Public Policy and minoring in Art History.
Ms. Ahmad is a member of the American Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
