Austin B. Neal is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. A member of the firm's Insurance & Reinsurance Industry Team, Mr. Neal's practice is focused primarily upon corporate and transactional representation of insurance companies and other corporate clients. His experience includes representing members of the insurance industry and other corporate clients in regulatory, administrative, legislative and transactional matters. His administrative experience includes representing clients before Florida's Departments of Insurance, Labor and Revenue, as well as the Agency for Health Care Administration and other state agencies. Mr. Neal's practice also includes corporate litigation in federal and state trial and appellate courts.
Mr. Neal has been Peer Review Rated as BV® Distinguished™, a mark of excellence in Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system and was listed in the 2010 and 2011 editions of Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers in the practice area of insurance.
Mr. Neal is a graduate of Florida State University College of Law (J.D., with high honors, 1994) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Tallahassee Bar Association, where he is on the Board of Governors, Young Lawyers' Division. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Northern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.
