Practice/Industry Group Overview

The U.S. Department of Labor's OFCCP is responsible for ">enforcement of ">Executive ">Order 11246, Section 503 of the ">Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Vietnam Era ">Readjustment Assistance Act and other laws requiring ">federal ">contractors and ">subcontractors to provide equal ">employment opportunity regardless of ">race, gender, color, ">religion, national origin, disability or Vietnam-era veteran status.  Baker Donelson's labor and employment ">attorneys assist today's employers in dealing with OFCCP's enforcement and compliance efforts, and help them address federal contractor and subcontractor requirements.

In addition, Baker Donelson ">attorneys provide assistance to covered ">contractors and ">subcontractors facing OFCCP desk ">audits, onsite reviews, offsite analysis, compliance checks and focused reviews.  In the event of OFCCP action, we provide advice and technical ">support regarding compliance evaluation resolutions, including negotiating compliance evaluation ">closure ">letters and conciliation ">agreements on the employer's behalf.
