The Firm has been in the forefront of creating law favorable to employers, with such published decisions as Turner v. Anheuser-Busch, 7 Cal. 4th 1238 (1994); Davis v. Consolidated Freightways, 29 Cal.App.4th 354 (1994); and Gosvener v. Coastal Corp., 51 Cal.App.4th 805 (1996). The firm also provides clients with extensive in-house management training programs specially tailored to meet individual client needs. Such programs include training executives and human resource personnel about how to reduce employment litigation, sexual and other workplace harassment complaints, how to conduct workplace investigations and how to prepare employee manuals. The Firm also conducts management training programs about how to discipline employees and how to address concerns about potential workplace violence. The Firm publishes two different quarterly updates to keep clients continually apprised of legal developments affecting employers.
