Barbara A. Ruth has over 15 years of experience and practices in the areas of federal, state and local taxation, with particular emphasis on income tax compliance and planning for estates, trusts, nonprofits, individuals, corporations and partnerships. She also devotes her practice to litigation consulting services, including criminal and civil tax controversies, damage measurement and marital dissolution. Prior to joining the Tax Accounting Group, she was associated with a local accounting firm.

Ms. Ruth is a published author and contributing author to the Tax Accounting Group's Client Alerts and other tax and financial publications designed specifically for our clients. Ms. Ruth is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations. A graduate of the Dickinson School of Law, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Millersville University.
