Baum Hedlund's attorneys come from varied backgrounds and offer a unique combination of skills that are particularly useful in the investigation of whistleblower qui tam claims, defective products and commercial transportation accidents. Two of the firm's attorneys are also pilots, two have engineering degrees, and four were law professors. Former Adjunct Aviation Accident Law Professor, Ronald L. M. Additionally, Paul Hedlund has a degree in mechanical engineering and Ilyas Akbari has a bioengineering degree.
