Benjamin Dryden is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP and is a member of the firm's Antitrust, Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution, and Distribution & Franchise Practices.
Mr. Dryden focuses his practice on antitrust issues arising from mergers and acquisitions. His practice includes antitrust counseling and risk management, preparing Hart-Scott-Rodino premerger notification and report forms, and defending clients in "second request" investigations.
Mr. Dryden also maintains a broad practice representing businesses in complex litigation matters before state and federal courts. He has litigated antitrust, unfair trade practices, political law, ERISA, RICO, and contract disputes. His clients include organizations in the telecommunications, health care, and manufacturing industries.
Mr. Dryden received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D., 2008), where he was articles editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law. He also earned a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from the Wharton School. Mr. Dryden earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan (B.A., 2004), where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
Mr. Dryden is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
