Background
Benoît Provost is a partner at our Montréal office. Benoît was admitted to the Québec Bar in 1980 and is a graduate of the Université de Montréal Law School. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the Université de Montréal in 1976.
Areas of Practice
· Benoît is a member of our Financial Services Group and is the Regional Leader of our Commercial Lending Group in Montréal.
· He acts as counsel to lenders, such as banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions, and as counsel to borrowers.
· Benoît also acts as counsel in matters involving advertising, real estate law and aviation.

· Drafts and negotiates loan and credit agreements, security documents and other agreements relating to various aspects of banking and lending money or other commercial transactions. Also drafts and negotiates documents in financial leasing transactions.
· Reviews marketing and advertising documents, including contest rules and regulations.
