Bernie Munley concentrates her practice on both labor and employment and intellectual property litigation matters. She is also a former judicial clerk to the Honorable Joseph T. Doyle of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.
Representative Matters
· Counseled clients on a variety of issues arising out of the employer-employee relationship, primarily focusing on defending employers in age, race and gender discrimination cases;
· Litigated cases in the federal courts and before the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC) and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC);
· Advised employers on the hiring, discipline and firing of employees and has also provided sensitivity and management training;
· Experienced in intellectual property litigation practice includes trademark, trade dress, misappropriation, trade secret, and unfair competition matters;
· Handled cases in state and federal courts and before the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
