Mr. Probst has also received an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is frequently retained as an attorney's fee expert. He is certified by the Florida Department of Insurance as an Instructor for continuing education credit for insurance adjusters. For over 25 years, he has lectured throughout the southeastern United States on insurance defense matters. Mr. Probst has also appeared as a guest on the television show "Workers Compensation Today" and has been named by his peers as one of South Florida's top lawyers in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 by the South Florida Legal Guide. In addition, he has been named by his peers as one of Florida's top lawyers in Florida Super Lawyers in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 and 2011. In 1997, Mr. Probst was honored by the Friends of 440, Inc., when he was awarded the Defense Attorney of the Year Award. He was also honored in December of 2008 as the Defense Attorney of the Year by the Treasure Coast Section of the Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund, Inc. Mr. Probst served as a member of the Dean's Advisory Counsel for Florida International University College of Law from 2008 through 2010. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees and past president of The Friends of 440, Inc., and is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund, Inc. He is a past President of the Notre Dame Club of Greater Miami and the Board of Directors of Boystown of Florida, Inc. He has also served as Chair of the Board Directors of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami and is currently a board member. In addition, Mr. Probst served as a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Academy Advisory Board, wherein he also served as Chair of the Board for two years. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of His House, which is a home for dependent, abused, or neglected children. While in law school, Mr. Probst worked as a licensed insurance adjuster for the independent adjusting firm, Lally Adjustment Bureau.
