Beth Cohen is a business development, marketing and legal professional with more than 20 years of wide-ranging experience in both international and domestic markets, covering the technology, health care, clean tech and life sciences industries. She has led diverse strategic and marketing initiatives and negotiated key business relationships for large and small companies. Additionally, she has been involved in various international business activities, leading companies to exposure and growth in both the U.S. and European markets.
In her role as Director of Emerging Growth Services, she directs a global emerging growth program where she advises the firm's early and growth stage clients on strategic marketing and business initiatives, including raising capital. She offers feedback on business plans and investor presentations and assists with introductions to a network of investors and strategic partners. She also advises foreign companies on entering the U.S. market.
Beth has been a member of the management team of several venture backed companies, contributing to their growth domestically and internationally. She helped lead an Internet company to profitability in less than three years, resulting in an exit. She played a leading role in a digital content company's entry into the European market and increased its exposure in the U.S.
Beth was also a member of the international legal department of one of Israel's largest electronics companies, and has negotiated business relationships, licensing agreements, distribution agreements, acquisitions, technology transfer arrangements and strategic alliances.
