In our civil practice, we represent plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving business torts, contract disputes, securities litigation, copyrights and trademarks, trade secrets, probate litigation, qui tam litigation, products and environmental liability. Among the active facets of our civil practice is the representation of lawyers and law firms -- and other kinds of partnerships as well -- in a variety of professional matters, such as disputes over partnership rights, dissolutions, fee allocations and claims brought by third parties.

Our criminal defense practice, which is concentrated in federal court, is restricted to economic crimes. Our ranks include five former federal prosecutors. We frequently defend corporations, corporate officers and directors, accountants, physicians, lawyers and business entities in a broad range of investigations, prosecutions and regulatory matters. These matters include stock, mail or wire fraud, government contracting, health care, environmental offenses and false statements to government agencies or banks. We also have conducted internal investigations for corporations that are evaluating their own possible criminal or regulatory exposure.
