Practice/Industry Group Overview

Our attorneys draw on their own, extensive experience in government to assist private-sector clients throughout the appropriations and authorization process. One of our attorneys, a former Congressman, was a member of the House Appropriations Committee for 10 years. Other members of our team worked for appropriators and as professional staff for various federal and state appropriations committees.

Services Available

We help clients secure appropriations and authorizations in virtually all areas, matching business needs with the political goals of legislators, their committees and their staff. We do so by combining grassroots communication to Congress with strategies for coalition building and media advocacy. Clients come to us from industries as diverse as energy, chemicals, transportation, telecommunications and health care. We also represent government agencies in intra-governmental appropriations.
