Practice/Industry Group Overview

Our attorneys draft and review Affirmative Action plans and help clients doing business with federal, state and and local governments evaluate their obligations and responsibilities and, where appropriate, establish and implement Affirmative Action Programs, including both internally managed and outsourced solutions.  We produce and file  required EEO-1 reports, VETS-100 reports, and EO Surveys and advise clients on the implementation of other mandated statistical analyses, including compensation and impact ratio analyses of applications, hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.  We provide employee training on Affirmative Action policies and compliance guidelines.

We assist clients doing business with the federal government in preparation for OFCCP audits and other government-compliance evaluations, including glass-ceiling reviews.  When claims of non-compliance arise, we represent clients before the OFCCP and the Department of Labor to address jurisdiction issues and disputes, negotiate conciliation agreements, resolve other findings of discrimination in hiring and compensation, and to appeal any adverse results of enforcement actions.
