Our attorneys have substantial experience in the purchase, sale, development and leasing of property in projects across North America and around the world.  We provide counsel in all transaction-related issues, including land use, financing, joint ventures, restructuring, foreclosures and bankruptcy.  We represent numerous clients in retail and office leasing, including landlords of large retail and office complexes, and facilitate mixed-use developments that incorporate office, retail and residential components.  Our lawyers also provide guidance in transactions involving specialized properties such as gaming and hotel facilities, energy infrastructure, and real estate investment trusts.

We represent clients in all aspects of real estate transaction finance.  We counsel both borrowers and lenders in the negotiation and documentation of all types of credit arrangements, including term loans, working capital loans, credit enhancement facilities, construction loans, structured financings, and the various workout, collection and foreclosure efforts related to non-performance credits.  We also facilitate asset-based financings, including sale and leaseback, synthetic lease and other leveraged leasehold and structured financings.
