Brad Malicki is counsel to the firm at the Middletown office. He has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate and commercial business transactions including formation, sales and acquisitions. Throughout the last 13 years, Brad has represented a multitude of small businesses, guiding them through their various licensing requirements. In addition, Brad's practice concentrates on real estate transactions, landlord and tenant matters, probate and tax matters. Brad is licensed in Connecticut and is admitted to the United States Tax Court.
A staple of Brad's practice is his dram shop and liquor liability representation. He has successfully guided business owners through the licensing process and in matters related to distributing, selling and dispensing liquor. He defends clients against allegations of dram shop liability, alcohol service to minors, social host liability, employee and patron based claims, product liability and premises liability. He regularly defends clients before the Department of Consumer Protection and the Liquor Control Board in matters related to license revocation, regulatory matters and fines and penalties.
Brad serves on various Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards in Connecticut and is a member of many business development organizations.
In his free time, Brad coaches youth sports, trains in Shotokan Karate and enjoys taking cruises.
