Braden McCurrach concentrates his practice in the area of corporate law, with emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate governance. Braden has significant experience with a wide range of transactions, including public company mergers, private acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, proxy contests and tender offers.

He received his A.B. from Duke University and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Braden is admitted to practice law in the State of New York as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

· Bear Stearns Companies Inc. acquisition by JPMorgan Chase

· The United States Department of the Treasury in connection with its TARP investments

· The Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Landry's Restaurants, Inc. in the acquisition of Landry's Restaurants, Inc. by Tilman J. Fertitta

· Trian Fund Management, L.P. in its tender offer for shares of common stock of Wendys/Arbys Group, Inc.

· Cosi, Inc. in its rights offering to common stockholders

· Wilshire Enterprises, Inc. in its proxy contest with Full Value and subsequent self-tender offer to purchase half of Wilshire's outstanding shares

· Xstrata Plc's sale of its Noranda aluminum division to Apollo Management

· Trian Partners in its proxy contest with H.J. Heinz Company
