Brad is a business lawyer who specializes in advising corporations, private equity firms, professional managers and entrepreneurs on complex business transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, financings, strategic alliances, leveraged buyouts, and licensing and distribution transactions. In this role, Brad has dealt with legal matters and legal counsel around the globe.
On an ongoing basis, Brad provides legal advice to owners, managers and directors with respect to banking relationships, fiduciary obligations, corporate governance, employee compensation, intellectual property protection and commercial leasing, as well as other business issues.
The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory names Brad as among the leading corporate commercial lawyers in British Columbia. In 2008, he was recognized by Lexpert Magazine as one of the Lawyers to Watch in the Guide to the Leading US/Canada Cross-Border Corporate Lawyers in Canada. In 2007, Brad was named one of Canada's Leading Lawyers under 40 by Lexpert Magazine and among the top forty entrepreneurs, executives and professionals in Business in Vancouver's Forty Under 40 awards.
Brad is currently a director of the Phoenix Gymnastics Club in Vancouver and a youth soccer coach. Brad is also a former director of the Vancouver Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), a past campaign chair of the United Way of the Fraser Valley, and a past director of the Student Biotech Network Society.
