Brad practices in the Litigation section and is based in the firm's Jackson office. His practice involves representing clients in commercial litigation cases, focusing on financial services, with a concentration in the areas of mortgage, real property and consumer finance law. He also has experience in construction litigation, products liability, railroad, and complex commercial litigation. He has previously represented large insurance companies in all types of bad faith claims litigation, including first and third party claims regarding commercial general liability, auto, health, and homeowners coverage.
Brad has tried over fifteen state and federal court jury cases to verdict. He is a member of the Charles Clark American Inns of Court, Capital Area Bar Association, the Mississippi State Bar, the Tennessee State Bar, the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute. In addition, Brad was listed in the 2010 Mid-South "Rising Stars" for Business Litigation. He is also on the Mississippi Supreme Court Roster of approved mediators, and is a member of the Sedona Conference, Working Group, Electronic Document Retention and Production.
Brad received a B.A. degree in Political Science in 1997 from the University of Mississippi and was a member of the Dean's List, Mortar Board, Order of Omega and Omicron Delta Kappa. He received his J.D. degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 2001, cum laude, and was a member of the Moot Court Board.
Brad also serves as a Mississippi College Adjunct Professor teaching "Legal Aspects of Sports and Physical Activity". He also serves as a Faculty Member and Lecturer for National Business Institute.
