Bradley S. Thomas

Brad Thomas is a partner of Mason & Thomas and has been with the firm since its inception in 1978. He is admitted to practice in California and in the Federal Courts. Mr. Thomas specializes in civil litigation, handling a variety of cases including product defect, automobile accident, construction accident, employment termination and discrimination, and business tort litigation. He consults with and advises individuals and insurance companies with regard to insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Thomas has been retained as an expert witness in legal malpractice and insurance coverage matters. He has presented numerous seminars on insurance law, damages, trial technique and discovery strategy, among other subjects. He has tried in excess of 80 jury cases. Mr. Thomas is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and the Northern California Association of Defense Counsel. He was president of the Sacramento Valley Chapter of ABOTA in 2004 and was the recipient of the chapter's award for professionalism and civility in 2008. He was a member of the Board of Directors of CAL-ABOTA for several years. He is a Master in the Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court in Sacramento. Mr. Thomas has often been requested to serve as an arbitrator or mediator and acts as a Judge Pro Tem in the Superior Court of Sacramento County at settlement conferences. He is on the Mediator Panel for the Third District Court of Appeal. He has achieved the highest rating for legal ability in Martindale-Hubbell.
