Biography

Brady Dunnigan is a partner in the Lexington office of Dinsmore & Shohl, practicing primarily in the areas of commercial real estate and lending. In that capacity, he represents clients in connection with the sale, acquisition, development, leasing and financing of various commercial properties, including mineral interests, equine farm operations, retail developments, hotels and office buildings, and represents financial institutions and borrowers (both as lead and local counsel) in connection with the structuring, negotiation, diligence (including title insurance and legal opinions), and closing of financing transactions of various sizes and structures. He also regularly counsels clients in connection with lease disputes, evictions, rent collections and enforcement of lien rights.

Brady's practice also includes business law/mergers & acquisitions. He has significant experience in entity formation and structure issues, as well as the structuring, negotiation and documentation of the purchase and sale of assets and equity interests and various commercial arrangements in numerous goods- and products-oriented industries. In 2001, he served as a member of the Special Legislative Committee of the KBA Section of Business Law, which was responsible for drafting and advising the 2002 Kentucky General Assembly regarding Senate Bills 120 and 121, which resulted in amendments to the Kentucky Constitution and various business statutes that modernized Kentucky's business laws in an effort to make the state a more attractive domicile for businesses.
