Bram Green is a partner in our Real Property and Planning Group in Toronto. Mr. Green's practice focuses on many areas of commercial real estate, including acquisitions and divestitures, secured lending, condominium resort development, hospitality, renewable energy generation projects and commercial leasing. His recent transactions include: · $44-million first mortgage of two office buildings in Mississauga (counsel for lender); · $53-million first mortgage of Wal-Mart anchored retail centre in Cambridge (counsel for lender); · $55-million sale of two office buildings in Mississauga (counsel for vendor); · $26-million first mortgage refinancing of office building in Mississauga (counsel for borrower); · $750-million credit facility in favour of InnVest Real Estate Investment Trust (counsel for lender); · counsel for Intrawest Corporation in connection with several condominium projects at Blue Mountain; · counsel for Ken Fowler Enterprises in connection with the Red Leaves Resort development in Muskoka; · counsel to Erie Shores Wind Farm Limited Partnership in respect of the development and project financing of a 99 MW wind farm in Port Burwell, Ontario; · counsel to The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company in respect of the financing of a 51 MW wind farm project in Pictou County, Nova Scotia; and · counsel to enXco, Inc. in respect of the development of a 19 MW solar PV power project in Arnprior, Ontario. Mr. Green is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Condominium Institute. Mr. Green received his BA from the University of Western Ontario in 1994. He received his LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1997 and was called to the Ontario bar in 1999. |
