Brandon O. Young is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm's Health Care and Life Sciences Industry Teams. Mr. Young's practice focuses on providing innovative compliance and business advice and counseling to providers, purchasers, payors, device and pharmaceutical manufacturers and all other segments of the health care industry. His experience includes advising clients regarding compliance issues in their operations and transactions with respect to the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Prior to rejoining Foley in 2011, Mr. Young was employed as a director of compliance at a global Fortune 100 medical device company where he was responsible for overseeing compliance for an international business unit generating approximately $12 billion in revenues. Before attending law school, he worked in the health care industry as a data analyst for a Medicare Part A intermediary, as well as for a large HMO.
Mr. Young earned his law degree from the University of Virginia (2003). He obtained bachelor's degrees in political science and history, as well as a certificate in international relations, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (1997, cum laude) where he was a Commonwealth Scholar and elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Young also belonged to several honor societies, including Mortar Board, Golden Key, Phi Alpha Theta, and Pi Sigma Alpha.
Mr. Young is a member of the Wisconsin Bar and is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Wisconsin.
