Leveraging a unique and varied business background, Brea is adept at guiding clients through a myriad of business challenges. She is a member of the Litigation Department and the Mass Tort Practice Group.
Brea has extensive business experience, specifically in monitoring and reviewing contracts. She formerly did government contracting and acquisitions work for the United States Air Force, managing a variety of purchasing contracts for the Space and Missile Systems Center in Los Angeles. She also worked in the office of the Air Force's General Counsel in the Pentagon, where she reviewed contractor compliance and handled suspension and disbarment matters, and at the Court of Federal Claim in Washington, D.C., working with government contract disputes.
Brea has leveraged her contract experience and business acumen to guide clients through a number of business transactions, including the acquisition and structuring of financing for a $30 million apartment building for low-income, elderly residents. Her practical approach and substantial experience enables her to quickly discern her clients' goals and help them reach efficient and cost-effective resolutions.
