Background
ˇ Brendan Wong is a partner at our Toronto office. Brendan was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2005. He received his Master of Law (specializing in commercial law) from the University of Cambridge, Sidney Sussex College, in 2010, and his Bachelor of Law from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2004.
ˇ Prior to attending law school, Brendan studied fluvial geomorphology and obtained a Bachelor of Science in environmental science at McGill University.
ˇ He is fluent in English and speaks colloquial French.

ˇ Brendan practices in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Shareholder and Partnership Litigation, Banking Litigation, Fraud Recovery Litigation, and Insolvency and Restructuring Law.
Professional Experience
ˇ Appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Ontario Divisional Court and Superior Court of Justice.
ˇ Has acted for corporations and individuals in a wide range of corporate and commercial litigation matters, including: shareholder and partnership disputes, oppression remedy proceedings, injunctive proceedings such as the execution of Anton Piller Orders, environmental disputes, defamation actions, real estate disputes and the enforcement of letters rogatory.
ˇ Has acted for banks and other financial institutions in a wide range of banking litigation, and bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring matters, including receiverships, the enforcement of security interests in real and personal property, reorganizations under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, and claims arising from fraudulent preferences, fraudulent conveyances, settlements and other recovery matters in insolvency contexts.

ˇ Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates' Society, and the North American Association of Asian Professionals.
ˇ Director of Access Alliance Multicultural Health Centre, a community health centre with three locations across Toronto.
