Brennen concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate development and financing transactions and construction and design matters. His experience includes representing clients in the sale, acquisition, development, zoning, construction, leasing and financing of commercial and residential properties. He also represents contractors, owners and design-professionals on a wide variety of construction matters including contract preparation, negotiations and administration, contract default claims, defective workmanship claims, engineering and design error claims, and mechanic's lien/bond claims.
Prior to joining the firm, Brennen was an Associate General Counsel of a major St. Louis home building company, where he was responsible for all aspects of negotiating purchase and sale agreements, construction contracts, mechanic's lien matters, as well as development agreements and land use approvals such as zoning, platting and permitting with municipalities.

· Represented owners and contractors in multi-million dollar construction delay, mechanic's lien and construction defect claims
· Represented public owner in all aspects of design, bidding and construction phases of a $30 million public works project
