Brent E. Horstman is a partner in the Finance and Bankruptcy Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office.
Areas of Practice
Mr. Horstman practices commercial law with a specialty in real and personal property secured loan documentation and workouts, representing lenders, corporate borrowers, and private equity sponsors. Mr. Horstman has worked on financings to entities in numerous industries, including a significant number of transactions involving hotel and gaming entities and entertainment companies, in addition to a number of cross-border transactions. Additionally, Mr. Horstman has extensive experience negotiating subordination and intercreditor agreements, both as counsel to the senior creditor and the subordinated creditor.

Representation of Rizvi Traverse in connection with term loan facility, the proceeds of which, along with other sources of capital, were used to take Playboy Enterprises, Inc. private.
Leveraged buyout of a major food products company, involving in-transit inventory and collateral located in Canada and Puerto Rico.
Senior financing, featuring revolving and term loan facilities, and mezzanine financing for a satellite TV and high speed internet provider.
Letter of credit issuance for major gaming company in connection with acquisition of London based gaming company.
Letter of credit facility serving as credit support for a municipal bond financing for a cancer research center.
