Brent Horst earned his law degree from the University of Toledo in 1987. He immediately began his trial career by working as a prosecutor, and for eight years prosecuted crimes from Driving Under The Influence to Capital Offense Homicide. After leaving prosecution he spent one year with a civil insurance defense firm before beginning his own practice. To date he has tried well over 100 jury trials.
