Brett Miller is an associate principal with the firm. He focuses his practice on employment and labor law as well as fair housing litigation.
In addition to representing clients in federal and state court venues, Mr. Miller has appeared before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. He has also represented clients in labor arbitrations.
He received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review and Moot Court Board of Directors.
Mr. Miller was named a Rising Star in 2009 by Super Lawyers. Rising Stars are attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or those who have practiced for ten years or less. Only 2.5 percent of Michigan lawyers are named to this list every year.
Mr. Miller has published articles in the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review and the University of Kentucky Law Review. He is also a frequent contributor to the Healthcare Human Resources Association's newsletter. Mr. Miller is active in the Michigan Healthcare Human Resource Association and a member of its programming committee. He is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Oakland County Bar Association.
