In his practice, Brett M. McCartney concentrates on complex corporate, commercial and fiduciary matters. His practice is primarily focused in the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware Superior Court. He has represented clients and litigated matters involving:
· Disputes involving managers and members of Delaware limited liability companies
· Fiduciary duties of officers and directors of corporations and alternative entities
· Trade secret misappropriation
· Restrictive covenants and non-competition clauses
· Inspection of books and records of Delaware corporations
· Appraisal actions
· Complex contract disputes
In addition, Brett recently assisted in obtaining a temporary restraining order requiring one of the world's largest chemical manufacturers to supply a key chemical monomer despite its force majeure declaration.
