Brian is a registered patent attorney and has served as a court-appointed expert to address issues relating to patent claim interpretation, infringement and validity. Brian is also a qualified Rule 39.1 mediator for intellectual property disputes in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. He served as President of the Washington State Patent Law Association and Chair of the Executive Committee of the Intellectual Property Section of the Washington State Bar Association.
