Brian Gannon practices in the areas of corporate law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and technology matters. Mr. Gannon represents publicly and privately held companies in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, spinoffs and divestitures, and private placements. He also handles venture capital financings, private equity investments, joint ventures and strategic alliances and investments. In addition, Mr. Gannon's experience encompasses technology and intellectual property transactions, including software development; licensing and distribution arrangements; cloud computing arrangements; information technology and business-process outsourcing transactions; managed services arrangements; and Internet and e-commerce matters.
Mr. Gannon has represented Internet service providers, health IT providers, pharmaceutical companies, e-commerce providers and enablers, telecommunications service providers, software and systems developers and integrators and other technology product and service companies. His clients range in size from newly formed startup entities to widely held public corporations.
Mr. Gannon is a 1995 graduate of Boston University School of Law and a graduate of Boston College. He is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia and the MIT Enterprise Forum of Atlanta as well as the Corporate and Intellectual Property Law sections of both the Georgia Bar Association and the Atlanta Bar Association. Prior to his private law practice, Mr. Gannon was a tax consultant at Arthur Andersen.
