Brian M. Grindall

Mr. Grindall's primary practice area focuses on the multi-faceted needs of the real estate enterprise. Leveraging his considerable experience as outside general counsel and in-house counsel for some of the largest real estate developers in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. region, his practice focuses on delivering legal solutions aimed at achieving his client's business objectives. Mr. Grindall has extensive experience counseling real estate developers, owners, construction companies, real estate investment trusts, landlords, and investors in sales and acquisitions, leasing, finance, entitlement, construction, and related corporate matters. In addition, Mr. Grindall has a substantial amount of experience representing borrowers and third-party acquirers during the work-out and pre-bankruptcy planning stages of distressed asset transactions, and has also served as general counsel to a national commercial real estate developer. He also previously worked in private practice representing commercial real estate developers with an emphasis on sales and acquisitions, leasing, financing, construction contracts and related corporate matters as well as debtors in bankruptcy. Mr. Grindall is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Real Estate at Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Grindall is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the American Bar Association.
