Brian is a Member in the Corporate & Securities Section. His practice deals with all aspects of corporate and transactional law and general business representation, including registered public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, venture financing, and general business counseling. Brian has represented numerous companies and underwriters in public financings, including initial public offerings, PIPE offerings, shelf offerings, and follow-on offerings. On an ongoing basis, Brian represents a number of public and private companies at various stages of development in a wide variety of industries.
After graduation from law school, Brian clerked for the Honorable Francis J. Boyle of the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island. Before attending law school, he worked as an engineer and manager for the U.S. Air Force's Electronic Systems Division.
Brian is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. He is a member of the American, Massachusetts, and Boston Bar Associations. Brian received his B.S. in electrical engineering, cum laude, from Tufts University (1988) and his J.D., summa cum laude, from Boston College Law School (1995), where he was an editor of the Boston College Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
