Brian practises in the areas of corporate and securities law with an emphasis on structured products, securities registration matters for dealers and advisors, finance transactions and mergers and acquisitions for both private and public companies.
As a former life insurance agent, accident & sickness agent and registered insurance broker, part of Brian's practice also involves corporate and regulatory matters involving insurance companies, agents and brokers.
Brian has written and published numerous articles involving corporate, securities and insurance matters and spoken at various conferences and seminars. He has extensive experience in Registration Reform and advises Portfolio Managers, Investment Fund Managers and Exempt Market Dealers on National Instrument 31-103 requirements, and has developed a registration readiness strategy for clients.
Brian is a partner at Cassels Brock and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1999.
