| Biography | After college, military service and law school, Mr. MacDermid was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1975. He developed his litigation practice first as a partner at Hoppin, Carey & Powell, then as a partner at Shipman & Goodwin, LLP. In 1992 he established his own practice and became a founding member of MacDermid, Reynolds & Glissman, PC. He is presently active as counsel to the MRG firm. In addition, he serves as a Hearing Officer for the City of Hartford and is an advisor to several non-profit organizations in the Hartford area.
