Bruce Parker's business law practice combines focused transactional experience with specialized industry knowledge. He is experienced at facilitating complex technology transfers through acquisitions, licensing, joint ventures and other business alliances. As part of this work he regularly advises clients on the protection and maintenance of rights in intellectual property assets, including patents, trademarks, technical know-how and confidential business information. In such matters he has particular emphasis on international intellectual property transfers. Bruce also provides clients with guidance on the antitrust implications of joint venture and licensing arrangements. From an industry standpoint, Bruce is knowledgeable concerning licensing, franchising and manufacturer-dealer relations involving intellectual assets and competition law, particularly relating to the automotive industry. He also assists clients with technology transfers and related transactional issues as they pertain to computer hardware and software, automotive products, publications, and medical products.
