Practice/Industry Group Overview
In the course of the law firm's Finance & Public Law Practice Group over the last 20 years, we have participated as counsel in billions of dollars of tax-exempt securities transactions. We have acted as bond counsel, underwriter counsel, letter of credit bank counsel, borrower counsel, issuer counsel and trustee counsel. We advise our public finance clients concerning state law issues, federal tax issues including arbitrage and arbitrage rebate compliance, and federal and state securities laws issues, including registration exemptions and MSRB and SEC rule compliance. The members of the Finance & Public Law Practice Group also work with all BDB’s other practice groups.
