2010 marked the 70th Anniversary of this La Paz based full service specialized business law firm. Founded in 1940 by Dr. Carlos Aguirre R. who practiced law for 50 years, of which he spent a year and a half as Justice of the Bolivian Supreme Court, the firm was reorganized and recognized by the La Paz Bar Association as a civil corporation in May of 1998. It has five partners, Fernando Aguirre B., Ignacio M. Aguirre U., Perla R. Koziner, M. Carolina Aguirre U. and Milenka Saavedra M., who became a partner in 2010. As of July 2011, Pilar Salazar G. was reinstated as Intellectual Property Associate.
Other activities and several publications have supported and enriched the moral conduct and presence of the society in the legal community. The firm's attorneys count with wide experience in different areas of specialization, strongly working in corporate law and related matters. All have received postgraduate education.
During the last years the Firm has expanded its work in the litigation area, thus becoming a full service firm for it clients.
In 2009 its IP group celebrated ten years of intensive practice, which has placed the firm amongst the five leading IP firms of Bolivia.
