Practice/Industry Group Overview
The firm's gaming law practice dates from the passage of the Mississippi Gaming Control Act in 1990. Butler Snow has been active in the practice since regulations went into effect in early 1992.
The firm has provided full representation to a number of gaming companies before the Mississippi Gaming Commission and other state agencies. Butler Snow's gaming lawyers have been involved in the licensing of six casinos and five manufacturers, as well as serving as regulatory and transaction counsel for acquisitions totaling over $20 billion.
