Byran Gibson, Q.C.* is a partner in the Vancouver office practising in the Business Law Group.
Mr. Gibson advises proponents of infrastructure projects, including transportation and energy projects and he represents financial institutions, whether provincially or federally chartered, in finance of infrastructure and all corporate and regulatory issues.
Mr. Gibson represents banks and borrowers generally on project finance, credit facilities, derivatives, structured finance and general banking/treasury issues including trade finance. He also represents borrowers, trust companies, life insurance companies and banks with respect to project lending.
Mr. Gibson regularly advises the treasury and finance groups of the largest chemical manufacturer headquartered in British Columbia, two large forestry companies, the largest ferry company in Canada and the largest credit union in British Columbia (and its subsidiary bank).
