The Cabinet Vieux Alcindor & Associates was created in 1994. In 2003, it became Vieux & Associates with a staff of 4 senior and associate lawyers and 2 junior staff members. Besides a general practice in all areas of law, this law firm specializes in bank law, commercial and corporate law, civil and property law, patents and trademarks and tax law. It also offers good services and has a broad know-how in labour law and conflict resolution.

Among its clients, there are one of the major leading bank in Haiti, several major private corporations, NGOs and State Development Agencies. It also provides services to the French Consulate and the Brazilian Consulate in Haiti.

In 2005, it was chosen by the World Bank to solve a labour conflict between Dominican corporations and Haitian workers in the industrial free zone of Ouanaminthe (Codevi vs. Sokowa labour union).
