Callie practices in the firm's general corporate and real estate group. Her practice regularly involves advising clients on a broad spectrum of corporate issues, including business organization and development, mergers and acquisitions, real estate (with an emphasis on leasing work) and day to day operational matters. As part of her corporate practice, she also works closely with renewable energy companies, advising them in connection with acquisitions and project development. She was recognized as a "Rising Star" by Alabama Super Lawyers in 2011 and 2012.
She received her B.A. in History from the University of Virginia in 2000. Callie obtained her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law in May 2003. During law school, she was Articles Editor of the Alabama Law Review and a member of the Student Farrah Law Society, the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society, and Co-Chair for the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board. Callie was also a Hugo Black Scholar, an Honor Court Associate Justice, a recipient of the Dean M. Leigh Harrison Award, and a member of Order of the Coif. She also serves as a member of the firm's Recruiting Committee.
