| Biography | Carey L. Cooper counsels a variety of clients in environmental, corporate, real estate and product liability law. The recipient of Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating, she offers advice and legal assistance to clients to assist them in complying with local, state and federal environmental laws. In addition, she has defended a variety of clients in environmental, business and professional liability litigation and has successfully handled complex negotiations with various administrative agencies and prosecutorial bodies. Ms. Cooper has participated in numerous national and local environmental seminars, and has published several articles on environmental topics. In her practice, she handles many complex and high-profile environmental, land-use, and toxic-tort actions. Ms. Cooper's practice currently focuses on litigation involving industrial equipment, public utilities, land use, and toxic torts. Born in Weston, Connecticut, Ms. Cooper graduated cum laude from California State University, Northridge before attending Washington & Lee University School of Law, where she also graduated cum laude.
