Carl Buchholz concentrates his practice in government relations and complex commercial litigation. He has substantial experience counseling clients in the areas of: · state and federal regulatory, administrative, and legislative matters · commercial and general litigation · government contracts · environmental law · insurance · intellectual property and patents Mr. Buchholz is a former special assistant for Homeland Security to President George W. Bush from 2001 to 2002. During that time, he also served as transition team chairman for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Buchholz has received the honor of being listed in both Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the East. Community Service & Affiliations Mr. Buchholz was co-chair of the Transition Team for Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett. He served as Pennsylvania general counsel for the Bush-Cheney 2004 presidential campaign. Mr. Buchholz is chairman of the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. He serves as a member of many other boards, including the American Revolution Center, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the Philadelphia Orchestra Association, Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education, Philadelphia Academies, Inc., the Committee of Seventy, and Pennsylvanians for Effective Government.
