Carl R. Schwertz focuses his practice on the defense of product liability cases and similar complex litigation. Carl supervises the defense of asbestos product manufacturers throughout Virginia.
Carl has served as a faculty member for several continuing legal education classes for both lawyers and claims professionals in the areas of mold and other toxic tort litigation, products liability and insurance coverage litigation.
Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge, Carl was the Managing Director of Duane, Hauck & Gnapp, P.C. in Richmond, Virginia.
